MRN Meeting 2025

On 20 August 2025, members of the Myanmar Response Network (MRN) met with professors from Chiang Mai University to discuss the research papers on economic, social, political, legal, and policy issues related to the new influx of Myanmar refugees after 2021.

The meeting included exchanging key findings from three research papers, updating on relevant policy developments, and exploring ways to utilise research as a basis for policy advocacy.

This collaboration marks an important step in strengthening partnerships between academia and civil society to push forward policies that better respond to the situation of refugees from Myanmar after 2021.
