        It is common to fall asleep while driving due to fatigue.<\/p>\n

        \u00a0If you drive drunk, you will be punished by law.<\/p>\n

        1. For the first offense, 4 points will be deducted from the driver’s license.<\/li>\n

            For those crossing the street between pedestrians and horses<\/p>\n

            Failure to stop will result in a fine of 4,000 baht<\/p>\n

            2,000 baht fine for driving in reverse<\/p>\n

            2,000 baht fine for parking in a designated no-parking area<\/p>\n

            A fine of 2,000 baht for not carrying a motorcycle cover<\/p>\n

            A fine of 2,000 baht for not wearing a safety belt<\/p>\n

            Driving without regard to the safety of the public Imprisonment of not more than 1 year, a fine of not more than 5,000 – 20,000, or both imprisonment and fine shall be imposed.<\/p>\n

            Note – Penalties are added depending on the loss of motorists and road users.<\/p>\n

            What are the rights of bicycle riders under the law?<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \u00a0 According to Thailand Cycling Club’s research summary “Rights of Road Cyclists”, the following 6 rights of cyclists have been confirmed.<\/p>\n

              According to Article 4 of the Constitution of Thailand 2014, while bicycle riders have the same freedom as a human being, the government has a responsibility to ensure that bicycle riders can use the road on an equal footing with other vehicles.<\/p>\n

              1. The right to be protected from injustice and crime<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                According to Criminal Procedure Code 64, it cannot be assumed that a person does not understand the law, so bicycle riders must learn about their right to legal protection against illegality and crime.<\/p>\n

                1. Rights under traffic laws<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  According to Section 82 of the Highway Code of 2522, bicycle riders must ride on the left side of the roadway. Therefore, in the construction of runways, places for mechanical riding must be built.<\/p>\n

                  1. The right to protection of victims injured by the law<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    Bicycle riders are entitled to 2 parts under the Law of 2535 on the Protection of Persons \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Injured by Traffic Accidents.<\/p>\n

                    1. Rights under the Social Security Act<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      If the bicycle rider is a worker and has social security, according to the Social Security Law Year 2533, encountering danger or being sick; They are entitled to protection under 3 conditions: being disabled and being small.<\/p>\n

                        As a cyclist, you have the right to free access to standard public health services and the right to receive subsidies if you are injured during medical treatment.<\/p>\n

                        Have the children wear the bike helmet before riding the bike.<\/p>\n

                        Children are more prone to accidents because they “don’t have the same control over their bodies as adults.”<\/p>\n
