🧡 Breaking language barriers and helping survivors access comprehensive services through Caseworkers’ Support Service
For more than 5 years, RBB has supported two caseworkers at the One Stop Crisis Center (OSCC), Mae Sot Hospital, to help survivors of violence access the services and care they need.
📍 From 2022 to 2026, our caseworkers supported 388 Thai and Myanmar survivors to access physical and psychological treatment by health professionals.
📍 For many survivors, language barriers and fear of seeking help can make it difficult to access support. Having caseworkers who speak their language and understand their situation helps survivors feel more comfortable, communicate their needs, and access appropriate services.
📍 These numbers reflect not only the people reached, but also the importance of having a supportive environment where survivors feel safe to seek help and receive the care they deserve.
RBB will continue working with Mae Sot Hospital to help ensure that survivors can access services without language barriers and receive support with dignity and respect. 🧡
